Years ago, we believed the Lord was leading our family
(Ruth, age 16 and Naomi, age 15)
to do church planting in the remote villages of Alaska.
We sought the Lord and He led us to join SEND International.
After seeking God, again, about which village He wanted us to commit to living in, He opened up doors for us to move to Allakaket.

We tell people that out ministry is the Word and people—we have kid’s Bible, adult Bible studies, visit homes and participate in all of the
community events.

We are a church plant (mission church) on the Yakama Indian Reservation. We are moved into action by Isaiah 58, As God calls His people to minister to the needy and oppressed.
All of our efforts are motivated by the message of the
Gospel and spreading the good news of Christ.
The biggest part of Church year is hosting short term missions teams for a week at a time, during the spring and summer months. Those teams are coming from churches around the country to roof, paint and clean up native Elders and single mother’s homes. The teams are also spending part of their week in one of the housing projects with the children, playing games and teaching children’s bible stories.

Aug: Heritage Connection Committee
The Connection Committee began during the 2017-2018 school year with the goal of connecting with our high school graduates as they begin their collage journeys.
The committee operates on a “school year calendar” and follows students throughout their college careers.
We also like to show our love and support to our church family’s high school graduates who may be entering into the workforce or taking other paths in their first year out of high school.

Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world
through gift-filled shoeboxes.
Each box packed full of
quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items
becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child.
For many, it is their first gift ever!
Delivered by our local church partners,
shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel
to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
This purpose of this ministry is to raise funds
to help pay for trips and youth activities for the youth group
and Sunday School groups.
Activities could include
bowling, roller skating, laser quest, or hockey games.
Really, anything that helps us to go, get out, and
create connections with the youth of our
community,
both inside and outside the church.
